This is a plant I purchased from a grower back in spring 2011. This is the first mature-ish looking pitcher it put out in August, 2011. I wish I had taken a shot of the entire plant, but it was about 1.5" across and had 5-8 small immature pitchers when I received it.
Here is the same plant roughly one year later, pictured in a 4” pot.
This photo was taken in the fall of 2012 when being repotted into a 5.5” pot. I had yet to add a top dressing of pure LFS.
This spring it started to flower, these photos were taken April 2013.
Here is a photo of the plant today June 26, 2013. Flowering took a toll on the plant and I have trimmed away any dead or dying pitchers. There are many new pitchers on the way, and in 2-3 months it will look good again.
I finished collecting seeds in the middle of June, roughly 3 months after the first flower spike was noticed.

Congratulation Drew.
This is a really great ceph.
Do you remember what your day and night temp was last winter ?
I'm thinking about putting a ceph with my coming heli setup next winter to induce flowering. The temp would drop near 5C at night.

Thanks Martin. Mine saw down to 7C many times this winter, but never much lower. I dont see 5C being a problem assuming they are acclimatized sufficiently. I usually keep mine on the drier side during winter.

You did a very nice job of growing out your Ceph to flowering size there Drew. And it produced quite a bit of seed too! dvg

Thanks dvg, I was quite surprised how many seeds I got too. They're in the fridge until fall.

Good growing! I like the timeline. Really give us a good idea of your growth rate.
