I have heard a rumour that they might be taking neem oil off the market soon. HDoes anybody know something about this? It is a great killer of things that eat my plants, and I would hate to see it go.

I think they are taking Neem pesticide products off the shelves because they have no documented efficacy-like No-Damp. I'm sure you'll still be able to buy Neem Oil at Health food stores etc. I bought some years ago-a waxy semi-solid at room temperature. Then you can mix your own. A little bit goes a long way. My small bottle has lasted for years and still has some left.

It can still be sold by garden centres as well, but cannot be marketed as a pesticide, etc. Paramount orchids sells theirs as leaf shine.
I should say though that this was what I was told at Paramount.

I would think that Neem Oil would be in enough demand by organic growers, those that tend to shy away from chemical pesticides, to keep it on horticultural shelves.
It would be sad to see it go the way of the DIN-less remedies.
