Hey guys, I saw some bugs on my plants and decided to try the Dry Ice method to kill them off. I used the same method as this guy on a frog forum: www.dartfrogz.com/easy_pages.php?p=8I also did a second bombing about 2 hours later where I put the container into the tank and then poured boiling water on it. I took a video if anyone is interested: youtu.be/5mQaA9W4TpIHopefully I wont see any bugs anymore. The tank is completely sealed with tape and plastic and I made sure that the CO2 was pouring out of it before I sealed it. I also held a lighter up to it until I wasnt able to light it anymore to ensure no air was left in the tank. It's staying sealed overnight, and around 5:30am I'm gonna unwrap it.

Where did you get dry ice? I tried to get some for my plants but it was way to expensive (50$) and in too large of quantities.

Where do you live? If you live in Montreal, I know a place in Ville St. Laurent which has a "Dry Ice Counter". You show up with a cooler and get as much as you want for $4/kg. It's called cryotronix PSIG. Here's the details: PSIG Polycentric Services Inc 6155, ch Saint-François, Saint-Laurent, QC H4S 1B6 (514) 956-9491 · cryotronix.com They're Dry Ice counter is open from 8:30-4:30 Mon-Fri. Not only does the CO2 kill the bugs but it can also increase plant growth I'll continue to update on both pests and plant growth.

Where do you live? I'm pretty handy with the interwebs! Just tell me the town or a town close to you and I'll try and track down a place where you can buy it
