Bought a grow tent off ebay last week and got here today, at 8:30 pm. Anyways went straight to setting it up and just finished now at 12. Im sure it will get quite warm in there, so Im going to go to Rona and pick up some flexable ducting and hook it up to the window with a fan to blow nice cold air in. This will be on a thermostat to keep the temperature a nice cool 75 degrees Farenheit. Also will be buying a cool mist humidifier that im planning to also hook up to the thermostat so whenever the fan with the cool air kicks in the humidity wont plummet. The tent has 2 outlets for in and out but will probably only use the one for now. In summer I will probably have to use the other for pushing the hot air out from a AC unit. Anyways here's a few quick photos from my phone, too tired to get out a real camera. Tent is 6.5' x 6.5' x 6.5' which means no ducking when standing inside Next spring looks like ill be ready for some neps!! Has a cool little window I didnt know about until today, which is sealed with a rubbery plastic.

Thanks Cole! Im pretty excited about it. Going away for the weekend though so hopefully the temps don't rise too high. Think I'm going to raise the lights a bit while im gone just in case.

Wow, nice tent. It will be a great installation. Take care to not get lightburns yourself Do the walls are resistant to scratchs and cuttings ?

Thanks Martin, its actually very thick material I was surprised at the quality since it was like half price compared to the ones at the hydroponics shop here in Calgary. The whole material part weighs about 40 pounds. The zippers are also very large and good quality. I would definitely recommend it.

That looks great! Neps will definitely like the conditions in there! I am going to try taking some cuttings from my N. ventrata and if they root by spring you can have one if you want.

Thanks Gabriel! By spring I should have lots of pings for trade so we can probably work something out.

Thanks sekler! Dont mind at all, I paid $170 plus taxes and shipping so was about $195 in total. It's of very high quality and definitely very reasonably priced compared to the hydroponics shop here. This size here was $400! Here's a link to it: www.ebay.ca/itm/6-5X6-5-Mylar-Hydroponic-Grow-Room-Tent-Budd-78x78x78-/280749788159?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item415dfdcbff#ht_3991wt_813I've changed it around slightly so will have to get some new photos soon. Still similar though. I have some ducting with a fan bringing cool air from the concrete floor in my basement when the temperature reaches 75F and within 1 minute the temperature is down to 74.5F where the fan shuts back off. This is with 4, 4' HOT5's and 3, 2' HOT5's running.

That's a great looking grow tent you've bought yourself there Drew.
You could put any color of LED or even a HID light in there without bleaching out the rest of the room with blinding light.
