I was going to get a bunch more flytraps on video today, but unfortunately something "attacked" my flytraps again so they are not looking at their best. I'll re-make this video again next year with better video clips and healthier flytraps anyway... Here is what I have so far! (be sure to have the volume on for full awesomeness) www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8ItHenTTz8I'm gunna delete the vid in a week, I just wanted to show it off for nao. :-D

Hey hey, nice video Devon. Your plants do nice catches.
I've look at you other videos. How did you grow your d. burmanii Humpty doo so fast ? Did you feed them a lot ? My common burmanii are so small even after much more time.

Thanks! Ugh, that video is so old... haha. I think the main factor for speed would be the amount of light given.

Great vid Devon! Those are some great catches. Did you plant the bugs, or are they all there of their own free will?

Great vid Devon! Those are some great catches. Did you plant the bugs, or are they all there of their own free will? All of the captures with flies, were there of their own free will. Most of the walking bugs like the ant, sowbug, and beetle were places in the pots and guided into the traps. Haha. One really gross thing I did to get more flies to land on the traps, was I put the flytrap right on top of a "poop bin" (dog poop) so there were tons of flies. LOL.

Yuck! I've used a similar but less gross way of feeding my dews. Place them beside the compost bin on the counter. Good eating for the dew, and less flies buzzing through the house.
