Where are the algae? Algae is harmless except for aquatic plants where it can sometimes choke the plant growth. I think chemicals might be harmful.

its growing on the perlite... it just looks ugly is all... maybe when my seedlings get bigger i can put in some moss... but for now they are just in peat moss and perlite.

Well Your better off just bieng patient and waiting... Because you will most likely harm seedlings with products... Cya

Try a top dressing of some LFS. It will hide the algae.

You could introduce U.subulata, that would hide pretty much everything
