Hey guys,
So I decided I wanted to make a greenhouse style terrarium, I have several ideas. I going to buy a fish tank tomorrow. The problem is i am getting a lowland nepenthes, and the tank might need heating, how do i heat a fish tank???

I would think that just the light itself would heat it sufficiently.

You can also look at horticultural seed flat 'heating mats' or even the heating mats used for reptiles. These can even be controlled off of a thermostat, so as to give controlled temps. If this setup is also controlled by a timer...for both lights a pad heater, the Neps can get their slightly cooler night temps as well. You can do a lot of these things if you are just patient and resourceful.

Well Everything is set up! My Terrarium is finally done, glad to see that I achieved a humidity level of 80% and the light keeps it pretty warm just as rug said! It is pretty Ready for my Nepenthes Mixta scheduled to arrive tomorrow September 9th. I'm so excited!
Also what other nepenthes are good for terrariums, and what sundews are easy. Would really appreciate your help.

If it's warm go for lowland neps. Add dews that don't like lower light, like prolifera and adelae with the neps.
