I will keep trying though. Maybe I should try from seed though I don't always have patience for stratification...

If you dont have patience for stratification you won't have it for growing out tinny flytraps, it takes several years to get them up to size. I find that 4 bucks for a flytrap at HD works greats, mine grew about a dozen plantlets and flowered within about 5-6 months.

By fall with lots of sun, they are pretty well small adult size. The next year they get big.
