I've given coffee to two of my neps that were stalling in growth(will post updates), and to two others. What I'm wondering is, has anybody used it on cephalotus? I've researched the matter a little, and I could only find a reference to it being used on heliamphora. I'm considering trying it out on one of my cephs, but would like to get some feedback before proceeding.

I tried it on a small ceph of mine and it seemed to pause it's growth. The only thing that grew wildly was the sphagnum moss around it. Instead of feeding coffee to your cephs, try beta fish food pellets in the pitchers. I did this with more small cephs of mine and they're having growth bursts after around a month or so. The new growth is also much healthier. The stems look thicker, and the pitchers look like they will be bigger too. Anyway, its your call to try it or not!

Thanks for the advice! I've been giving the odd betta pellet to them, I'll just keep doing that for now.

Cephs really shouldn't need anything beyond maybe some fishfood in the pitchers every now and then.
