well i saved a vft from fortinos and 2 weeks later of helping it grow with blood worms it is now growing a flower but it still small so can any help when to pick the flower to seeds

Producing seeds will take some energy from the recovering plant so you might want to cut off the flower stalk to give the plant more time to recover before winter dormancy.

If you want to save the seeds though, wait until the seed pods are good and dried and brown - long after the flowers have died and the petals have fallen off. I then put the whole stalk in a baggie, let it dry further then flick the seed heads to dislodge the seeds.
