Hi all! I am new to the forums, but not to cp's.
I have crossed 'Dentate' with the pollen of a 'Sawtooth', and the results came out with dentate teeth with tiny little teeth on the sides, but looks more 'Dentate' than 'Sawtooth'. It has very little red coloration.
You guys pick or make a name:
D. "Jagged Cliff"
D. "Rough Edge"
D. "Cookie Monster"
D. "Tridentata"
D. "Alba"
D. "Thorns"
If this can be made into a poll please do so, mod.
I like "Thorns" the most, "Cookie Monster", then "Tridentata/tridente/tridentate".

THIS POST = FAIL imo. How can you just suddenly name a cross without even knowing if it is a new cultivar or even doing research? I have a distinct feeling that your time here may be limited too. I don't think I have ever said that but judging by your posts on other forums it seems likely. I would appreciate any intelligent arguments, info or questions but this seems to have nothing valuable to add. Ok so you crosspollenated 2 cultivars of VFT.... ok show some pics and some arguements as to WHY it needs its own cultivar name. If you want people to help you name a new cultivar it may help to show what it looks like.

soo.... do you have any pics of the plants? I'd love to see. I thought that flytraps took years to mature and see their traits though, don't they? isn't it a too early for a seedling to be a cultivar? cultivars have to go through many years of tests and crap to make sure they're stable and not too similar to other cultivars, I'm pretty sure.

As I've already stated... This 12 year old was banned from the other forums he joined, and I posted links to the downright ridiculous threads he made there while annoying every single member that read his posts. Not trying to start a flame war here, I just posted the facts. Don't waste your breath Rug, he already tried to ask the same type of question on TF. He was told he needed to wait years to see the stability of the specified plant, to have it spread around with many growers, etc etc. He doesn't care. It's only a matter of time before he gets banned from the OCPS, then we can get on with our lives... Until then:  |

Major disrespect? And you're talking? Ok. If you have learned to "control yourself" as you say you have, then why are you posting here on the OCPS, about topics that have already been dismissed on the other forums?
I'm not encouraging people to hate you, nor am I "not saying anything nice". I'm simply stating the facts based on what you have posted on other forums, where you were banned on. This thread is, IMO, exactly like your other ones on TF and FTC - pure BS.
Therefore, don't tell me to mind my business - because it is. You're new to the forum, and the first posts you made have people pissed off. Including me. That makes it my business!
Indeed, I will stop - posting in this thread, that is. This is just not worth the time.
