Hi everyone, I have 2 VFT that are still green and growing well - how do I put them into dormancy? I thought about putting them outside (which is like a fridge now, wiill be -40 soon) until they go into it but I am afraid it will just kill them. Can I keep them outside in their pot for the length of the dormancy? What care do they need for dormancy?

I'd suggest waiting for them to naturally go dormant. Before the first frost, make sure to bring them in. They usually don't do well outside in our cold Canadian climate, except if you have a big inground bog with 2 feet of mulch on top of it They would probably do well in a fridge, by the way. I believe someone already made a big thread with photos on how to give vft's a good dormancy, check that out.
