Hey Guys! If you had to choose one, which one would you pick? I like plants that stand out!
I've kept Home Depot VTFs and now looking for something more exciting!
Thanks for the advice!

B-52's advantages: Absolutely HUGE traps!!! they are very impressive, when next to your typical ugly vft... Big mouth: The coloration in the traps is more than spectacular, the coloration is so deep, it's closer to purple than red! I thoroughly enjoy both of them, but i have a slight preference for things that are out of the ordinary, so if you were to chose only 1(idk why you'd restrict yourself ) i'd go B52 all the way. curling guy: idk if the properties would be retained, as cultivars are required to be propagated through vegetative means in order to retain the specific qualities that that vft has... correct me if i'm wrong, just going from what i remember.

Blokeman, you are correct about cultivars. The only exception occur with annuals. However if you do a cross you might end up with plants combine best traits of both cultivars.

I think there is also a thing about cultivation. Some people seem to do a better job with some cultivars than others. I agree with the other nuts here, who think you should grow as many cultivars as you can!
This year, like a few years ago, my VFT with the largest leaves is a mutt without a pedigree. My Big Mouth and B-52's are kind of taking the year off.

I should have maybe mentioned (though I hate to criticize negatively) that it's a colasanti farms clone.. and most of their typicals I have seen for sale aren't in tip top condition. Maybe in a couple years, the ones I bought will be able to come back and thrive, but so far, after 1.5 growing seasons and a dormancy in my comfortable fridge, they look very similar to how they looked when I bought them, crummy. Thankfully, my B52 and big mouth steal the show, which is also unfortunate(for my measly typical), until further notice
