I have a D. intermedia and nidiformis that are putting up flower spikes, my question is: How do i pollinate them, or if they pollinate themselves?
Thanks!

Intermedia: stand back and wait for hundreds of seeds. I never have grown nidiformis, so I don't know.

The intermedia are prolific seed producers but are not weedy.

I'm reminding you! ;D Don't worry, wait until after May 1'st when I get my new house. When you are ready I'll give you my new address. Maybe some nidiformis seeds, too.

You can add nidiformis for hundreds of seedling. Not as bad as capensis or intermedia.

Are capensis and intermedia self pollinators too?

Thx again. My D. capensis red is about to flower any day now. Looks purple so far to me.
