I was at Canada Blooms yesterday, and I picked up a D. adelae and a D. spatulata. I put them in my apothecary jars, and put a bit of distilled water in the bottom (just touching the bottom of their plastic pots). They looked a bit dry. I'm going to try to find some pea gravel to put around the pots. I think I'll try to cut the pot's rim down a bit, so it won't be seen when the gravel is around. I'm not sure what it is growing in, so I'm wondering if I need to take them out of their pots and re-pot them in medium I make up (1 part perlite, 1 part sphagnum for both?). I wish I could clean off some of the crud that is stuck to their leaves, but I'm guessing that's a bad idea. I'll take pictures of them soon!
Oh, and there where VFT's and nepths there as well. All at the same booth.

they're probably fine how they are. D.adelae needs less light and ideally more humidity than D.spatulata to be happy, D.spatulata is pretty much bomb-proof. I wouldn't worry too much about repotting them, let them adjust to your conditions and once they toughen up nice you can muck with them more would be my suggestion- it's always nice getting new plants!!

I was at blooms to and saw the dews at that tropical vender's booth , the adelae is fine in the sphag moss its in , the spatulata you might want to change i found that they tend to rot out on me growing sphagnum , a peat/ perlite mix i find is good . just baby them abit they looked unhappy at the time . jay

So for the spatulata (notice they spelled it spathulata) I shouldn't use any spagnum? Just peat moss and perlite? They did look quite unhappy, though not sickly when I bought them. They look much better now in a humid environment, lots of dew developing! How exactly do you baby them?

Ahh yes, I kind of assumed the D.spatulata would be in peat moss- Jay is right, they don't enjoy LFS so much in the long run, so if they( or it, dunno if there's multiple plants in there or not) look happy enough, do repot them into peat/perlite
"Babying" plants- personally I would define that as keeping their humidity nice and constant, steady temperatures around 18-23 C and whatever light you can give them, AND keeping them watered properly. Once they are looking strudy and actively growing you can be a bit more slack if you choose!
