I haven't ordered from this company before. Probably Flytrap of vraev have heard of other's comments about their plants received from MT.

Do a google search on the company and purchaser's issues. I'd use the search parameters "Malesiana" + reviews or satisfaction or dead plants or size.
I've never ordered from them before, as they've never ever replied to any of the many queries sent out from myself or my friends. I never buy anything from any outfit who does not have the courtesy to reply to simple queries.
The only thing I remember about them is that folks on the various CP forums had a lot of complaints about their plants not being hardened properly... and thus potentially, a very high die rate.
My recommendation is to save a bit more coin, save your grief and buy from a Canadian supplier. The plants here have been grown to local conditions, have passed inspection quarantines and you save on the CITES and import hassles.
I've had entire shipments destroyed due to suspected plant infections in the past. Have a read on the large Australian order on the pitcher plant forum... I think those poor sods in the US had all their plants destroyed a year or so back, when a customs official suspected a funny fuzzy growth.... I think it was around $10,000 worth of Nepenthes that got put into the incinerator. Maybe Vraev can recall the details of this sad incident...

That issue still makes me feel sad. Over 10000$ worth flowering size plants from Exotica plants Australia were destroyed. Include in them amazing specimens of rare N. x predator, N. lowii x truncata and one begins to see the huuuuuge loss it represented in nepenthes horticulture. D is right...it was the presence of a white powder on the plants which alerted the official. They suspected it to be a particular fungal species. However, Exotica normally dust the plants with an anti-fungal powder before sending them out.
I have heard of a very recent issue (early 2009) where plants were brought in from Malesiana Tropicals which were once again incinerated. They are trying to revamp their facilities from what I have heard. BTW, The Malesiana we see today is not even a shadow of the nepenthes nursery which used to offer among the most choices and varieties of nepenthes. I only hope they can come back and get their operation back to its former glory. They had some truly spectacular clones which are not available anymore.
I don't have much knowledge about local canadian orders from Malesiana as OCPS is the only place from where I can read about it. But to my knowledge no one here has placed an order from them yet...so we don't know how our customs dept will take those plants.
