Yeah I was ogling them suckers a while back... having our own cultivar/hybrids would be something else eh?? Maybe we should focus on this
Only thing I can think of is crossing U.subulata (I am not joking tha damn stuff is back AND made an ACTUAL FLOWER, I saw it yesterday and nearly fainted haha) with D.capensis , I bet such a hybrid (IF possible which it sadly most likely isn't) would be a TOUGH plant to kill no?

Tom, thanks for posting up that thread. That is an awesome hybrid. I read a while back that the petiolaris group easily hybridizes with each other to make viable seed and beautiful offspring. I was wanting to focus more on this group in the coming year, as well.. I'll have to see what I'm able to come up with. Thanks for planting the seed.

Wow, cool! That is a nice little plant. It'd be cool if we could do this too, though I've not the know-how I'll bet there are at least a couple of people on this site that are more than capable! mabudon: IT'S BACK?! At least it made a flower this time...
