Hi Tom,
I am not sure how big a $2.00 size plant is but I can get pretty much anything to grow and Pings seem to love my north east window year round. I need to try rooting some leaves from my Pinguicula Yucca Do 1713 I have tried before and failed. Does anyone have a photo tutorial on how to start new plantlets from Pings that you know of?
Cheers, Sean

Pinguiculaman has done some tutorial on PFT forums, I think it is pinned on top of Pinguicula forum (http://www.terraforums.com/ib312/ikonboard.cgi?s=f4ca253a714f6fa4e7ac7e75ac5d1eea;act=ST;f=6;t=16142) Other than that, you can pull out some leaves from the base, taking care to don't break it, and assure to have the white tip attached on it. Lay it on humidified (not overly wet) vermicullite or sphagnum in a bag or any plastic container, translucid and that can be closed hermitically. Put under soft light and wait for 2-3 weeks, you should see some growth on the tip by then. Succes much depend on the species/plant and the period of the year to do it. Winter, non-carnivorous leaves seem better for this, but not in all the case in my situation. I'll see if i can make you a small tutorial with pictures Your Yucca-Do complex would made me more than happy, good luck with the propagation

Trades has priority in general, but i wouldn't mind selling too. What's important is more to get the plants a new home, so I can have some more place here... and propagate again . PM me about what interest you.
