Good frozen evening to ya'll. I have some D. dielsiana that I got from vraev that have come to flowering age already. One has no more flowers to bloom, but 5 more are putting stalks up. Now what Do I cut it off once the last flower closes or wait till it dries up? Anything else that needs to be done with them? On a side note, it's almost seems impossible to get a pic of thier flowers, they open and close so fast!

leave them be, they'll make pods of seeds over the next few weeks They will close up, swell up and eventually turn brownish, once they start to split you have seeds (tho you CAN cut them off a bit before then) Usually on a stalk there will be seed-pods on the lower parts and flowers on the tops in cultivation And YES they sure move fast, turn your head and you'll miss them!!

I think I was too late on the first stalk... I cut it off and put it on the table only to find little specks afterwards... Can we say sundew garden? This one's called for, but if anyone else is interested, send me a PM.
