Hi guys, I just won seeds through EBay for different seed crosses. I haven't had any luck with germinating seeds from my past orders online. I would like to know which is the easier/faster way to germinate these seeds? Cold Strat treatment of GA3 treatment? Process?
Here are the list of seed crosses:
VFT – ‘Big Mouth’ X ‘Big Mouth’
VFT – ‘Dentate Traps’ X ‘Dentate Traps’
VFT – Typical
VFT – Typical - "Large Traps"

Different people have different ideas about cold stratification. I've never used it for VFT's. If they're fresh you don't need anything. I usually use GA3 250 ppm for 24 hours and get over 60% germination.

I'm with Lloyd on that, no strat for them. I have had better luck with no strat (about 60% or better with no acid) I have had 0% luck with strat.

Thanks guys though I don't really know if the seller is telling the truth about how fresh the seeds are. I guess will try some with strat and some without.

Actually, I may try some from AJ Hicks' N1 formula. Has anyone tried this? Lloyd?

I bought seeds from that guy on ebay too. I think I got like 90% of them to grow. Just waiting to see what they will look like as adults. I grew them with no strat and had them in a peatmoss and perlite mix. I had them in a clear egg carton as a humidity dome but I think I shoulda used a different tray. Anyway the seeds you got will be good!
