have any of you experienced your capensis catching prey, the prey is digested and then the remains turn into cocoon like fuzz mungus/mold type stuff. would this be of concern or is it part of the natural process, they are in a terrarium and ventilation might be the questionable factor here. what are your opinions? Cheers Steven

Probably mold from too much humidity.

Yeah that always happens when there is no real air movement.

I get it sometimes even when the terrarium is totally uncovered.

my bugs look almost the same after the plant has finished digesting, maybe a little dry, definitely dead
i use to get this white fuzz in my setup on recently digested bugs until i got a good muffin fan system, so id think its eather the humidty or stagnant air
my sundews (capensis, Multifida extreme) are in humidity from 60- 80% all day with 16 hours light, and its rare 2 see the plant loose any dew or even older traps, i usually end up trimming older healthy traps for appearance
