Hey,
From my experience which isn't much, there isn't insects you can buy for your plant, mainly because Venus Flytraps need only one good sized fly a week to be fine, I doubt you can buy insects for them anywhere.

Hi
Instead of buying bugs, you could go out into your garden and catch them. ITS FREE! Also, if you are using a terrarium or a fish tank and want to raise humidity, you could partially seal it but not completely as your VFT still needs air circulation. It depends on your setup. If you arent using a fish tank or terrarium you could use the tray method for watering which will also increase humidity.
Hope this helps!

Okay, I have grown VFT's for years.....so.... -don't worry about bugs...let it catch its own. If you really want, catch a fly 1/2 the size of the trap...hold it with tweezers (it must be live to keep triggering the hairs once the trap shuts or the trap will just reopen) by a wing....stick it in the trap so that the trigger hairs are rubbed....then BAM....you likely can't pull the tweezer out fast enough!! Forget about humity....does not need any extra.....just put them in the sun but not into full sun immediately....you need to slowly acclimitize then over say 10 days or they'll get a sunburn......

Stick it outside and keep it wet with distilled water. Let it catch it's own dinner.

Hmmmm, sounds like it had some indigestion, how big was the cricket you fed it? try keeping the insects atleast 1/4 of the size of the trap, the biggest you could go is 1/2 of it's size. If an insect is too big the trap will die. I also suggest this site recommended by Keehns Carnivore flytrapgrowing.info/category/food/Good luck
