As you may all know this cultivar of VFT's is the largest known trap sized VFT out there. but a simple question puzzles me, given the fact that this plants sher size is big isn't any other VFT able to obtain such a size.? Ex: Typical VFT, B-52 grown in same conditions yearround. would the results be different or the same..? anyone with this rare experince could maybe help thanks. -Wayne-

Someone else may be more able to answer this better than me. I think most of the "big variety's" have had there genes altered tetraploid I think is the term. The B52 is defiantly a BIG one. Stephen

I've been wondering about all the nifty plants available these days. Have we graduated from hybridization to GM houseplants? Are we now growing frankenflowers??

We'll they do eat things... maybe one day they will eat more than Barry Rice's infected skin From my understanding is much like Sdeering. As certain plants grow and form differant shape / sizes / colours, they take cuttings from these plants to preserve that trait and exploit it, for lack of better words. But yeah, any VFT could get bigger than a B-52, but likely hood is slim Peter.

to answer your typical vs B52 year round same conditions question... the B52 will grow bigger. I have a B52 and Typical that stay in the exact same conditions year round. Already the B52 is much larger than the typical, and it is only June 1!!!

Hey Rick, Im glad everything is straightened out. Although stephen clarified that he only sold ellerslie Big Mouths. That means i have 2 of them now. Also, the mixed red ones had nice large traps on them. Ive seen them. Hopefully Mary will trade with me since she meant to give me a b52. Thx, Mark
