Drosera aliciea 8/10
Drosera auyan tepui 5/30 02/15/07
Drosera macrophylla macrophylla 0/10

You got a job ahead. I find it very hard to see if they are germinating when other stuff starts growing in the medium. Hopfully the little ones will beat the rest. Good luck. Stephen

Hey! For the lights I would suggest you moving them a little farther away... I have 1 Exoterra UV neon ~ 4 inches from some seedling and there VERY red some even burned... (Dead) Cya P.S. Its just becasue seedlings are very sensitive to too strong light...

Thanks for the effort. I'd like to try another order if you get some good results. You've got some toughies there, I wish you more luck than I had.

I thought about that but i am going to leave them where they are for now, once i see something coming out i will immediately put them farther from the light. Hey! I know kind of sucks. Mines are not germinating yet. I was in the australian forum and they told me to give them smoked water. Soo today I have been burning peatmoss and i will filter some water with the ashes. They said that will get them germinating and I really hope they do because it is getting late for them.
Xavier.

This thread has made me think (that's a BIG change for me). I have some macrophylla and roriama (sp??) seed sewn that is taking forever. The seed may be a bit on the old side, but I was thinking of covering the pots with a couple of inches of tissue and igniting it and see what happens. I initially thought of using flash paper from my magic repertoire, but I'd be worried about the flammable chemicals in the paper or their residue causing problems. Hopefully, we won't be having a big fire sale next week >>> Rick <<<

Well for Peltata you definatly don't need a fire to make them germinate! (7on10 for me) Cya

I went ahead a bought a bunch of toughies and weird ones from Rareexoticseeds. I'll see how I do. By the way did people know that also they have Gibberellic acid for amazingly cheap rates also the smoke simulator paper at a reasonable price.
