so you think those three tubes will be enough for the neps?? man! already I am like too many watts into this setup since ALL my plants grow indoors. BTW.....personally I didn't like coccinea pitchers. atleast in my case, I hope the big nep turns out to be a miranda. I love the maxima style pitchers. I want it to be like this: The one in the mac greenhouse looks like this.

Hopefully for you you got the one you like(Fusca,Miranda,Maxima style) As for the 3 neons sure why not! I've never had probs with one neon for neps after all they don't like direct sunlight so they won't like having 3-4 neons... But who knows! Cya Btw.. Check out N. X Mixta... You'll like it!

see....that is also one hting I am unsure of....the one in mcmaster is labelled as mixta. However, it has the same pitchers as the one being sold in sheridan...the one "in the same line" which I bought. I guess I just have to wait and see. My taste in pitchers is varied. Now that I have this style, I wouldn't want a second one of the same unless its pitchers are contrasting. My next bet would be the lowii...I love the wine glass pitcher that flytrap posted a while ago. That was sweet.

I thought the weird lowii pitchers were the upper ones. How tall do the plants have to be to get the upper pitchers?

From what I know, the lowii is a very slow grower and it takes ages to get to the size when the plant can start veining and then put out upper pitchers. I guess 2 yrs isn't a bad guess.

I had mine a yaer and it got an inch wider... There soooooo slow! more than 2 yrs for sure! Cya P.S. It all depends on the plants purchase size...

I guess I got to wait a month before I can see that new pitcher on the miranda. Well! I have waited 4 months to see anything on the ventrata...so a month is nothing now . You know what would be great?? to see the bical, ramispina and rajah make new leaves. That will fill me with enough joy that I can wait more months to see pitchers.

Lol! It will happen for sure! Ramispina is a fairly fast grower compared to the other 2 bical is soso and well rajah is a snail! Cya

no movement on the ramispina yet. Flytrap's offshoot had no roots at all... so I guess it is taking its damn own time to make some and then grow . You know something...I notice that the miranda pitcher inspite of the slit..is still growing

I thought the slit wouldn't allow the pitcher to "inflate" properly. I guess I just have to wait and see. The plant is growing though.
