We had an early thaw a couple of weeks ago, and I checked around some of my plants... only to see that mould has made a home on some of my plants. I shot this photo a couple of weeks ago: and here it was earlier in the summer of 2006: I had posted this summer pic of it earlier on our forum. Again, notice the yellow pollen stuck on it's lip roll. The dead bugs in the pitcher is the cause of the mould attack. Now our weather has turned very cold again. So, everything is frozen again. Frozen bugsicles anyone?

Soon, SOOOOON we'll be looking at stuff in full growth and bloom!! Is that the "classic" sooty mould that Schnell mentions?? the "superficial" one?? I just wonder as you ARE growing them species outside their normal range- I assume from the lack of BOLD CAPS that you aren't too worried about it
