Hi guys,
PLEASE USE THIS THREAD TO POST MORE COOL IDEAS FOR LANDSCAPING TERRARIA.
As you guys know....I am the nosey dude who didn't listen to a lot of advice on terraforums about NOT MAKING a terrarium for my plants and made it anyways.
I am happy to say I have finished STAGE 1 which was all about SURVIVAL! This result of this stage is my current terrarium which has shown me that I can atleast with "decent" success raise carnivorous plants.
Now that its time to remove my big plants and move them to seperate containers....Its time for me to go on to stage 2
Stage 2: A picturesque ECOSYSTEM!! a VIVARIUM with small carnivorous plants...but mainly focusing on the LOOKS!! with nice realistic looking habitats.
The carnivorous plants will now be moved to seperate pots which shall be put in a different foil enclousure so that they happily survive without the terrarium stresses of wall limitation, media limitation etc.
Once a important ordeal is over this summer, I will get access to probably a BIGGER terrarium....however for now and even when I do get access to the bigger tank, it is still likely that I can only move around the smaller one when I go to uni next year. So the small tank is my mini ecosystem which I want to design this time wiht aesthetics in mind.
I WAS BLOWN AWAY by this pictures::
This is what I want....lol! that is freaking insane. I am going to see if i can mail this guy and ask for suggestions:
more here:: www.wildsky.sakura.ne.jp/vivarium/justin051203l.htm
Anyways....got to go....exam tonight at 7 PM ... I had a lot of ideas abotu water systems and all such things...I'll give you guys the big blueprints tonight
cheers,
varun
