hi all i am a newbie to this site, been growing many CP's for a few years, but had to move to apartment and lost quite a few plants. due to areas not going to mention. any way now back into the CPs and restarting all over again, the only plant left is a N. ventri.. same one from HD, been a member of ICPS but was not for me... wanted something closer to home, now there was a canadian site and was a member there too, but let it slide on the way side, then surfing on the net and found your site here, read all posts and interested, so i joined and plus when the memberships are ready to join i will be there too, i have been to a few wild sites, researching and pictures,... how i got started in CPs is from white rose bought one died, tried again same thing died, seen the book savage garden and then retried and then wow a live plant .. i then went back and save the rest of the plants at a reduced price and saved all but one.... well at this time i want to say thank you for this great site and it seems to me you have some great people here too
happy growing steve

Welcome aboard!! My name's Carl and I'm in St.Catharines. What species interest you the most?? Do you have any plans to grow anything outdoors?? We do have a great crew here so far and no doubt we will swell our ranks as time goes by- flowering season is coming up soon, so if you intend on growing Drosera I should be able to hook you up with some common stuff (translation- WEEE someone who doesn't have D x tokaiensis!!! that darn plant is aiming to become my legacy) Hope you enjoy your time here!!

No, I am friends with him, but he and I are not one-and-the-same (besides, I like Star Wars and he's a trekkie, so we're not at ALL similar) And agreed, he is a genuinely fun and generous dude. I can't personally get pings to grow so far, but I keep trying. I may have some seeds of temperate stuff for you (well, one species at LEAST) if you're interested in them, PM me if that's the case and I'll see what I can do!

Sib here, if you have any problems with the forum or what ever, feel free to contact me, among other things, I'm forum admin. Carl Mazur is on the forum(well in profile atleast), his is purpman I believe? Sib

Currently we are working on the inner workings of the cabinet...complicated! I should have something to post soon. We have most posts filled, but are still missing pres and vice I think, going off memory, not always so good! Sib

Welcome Steve! My interest has been outdoor stuff, but Madubon got me into trying tropical indoor plants. (My Tokaiensis is doing great too!) BTW, I'm a Lexx fan these days..
