So everyone knows me as bubblebrain (David), I live in Toronto around the Jane and Finch area (Bad Area) This hobby started with trip to home depot where I got my first VFT, which die after a week or so. I didn't give up, I went back and got a few more, After purchasing The Savage Garden by Peter D'Amato and Secrets to Growing Beautiful Carnivorous Plants By Jacob Ferin and Jeff Dallas, I knew my stuff! So i started to purchase a variety of plants for my growing collection ;D. The plants I have are growing happily. Favorite Plant: Sarra Dana's Delight So thats it about me, I want to know about you!

btw... I had a query from another CP forum regarding my choice of Avatar. Here's what I wrote: ... the avatar I chose is that of our native Pacific Treefrog (Pseudacris regilla). That little guy hatched in my pond as a tadpole and grew up next to my bog garden. Every now and then, I would see him and his siblings climbing in an out of my sarracenias. I am sure all of you have heard his song... as quoted from the net: www.npwrc.usgs.gov/narcam/idguide/hylareg.htm )
"... They are a small treefrog attaining lengths up to 2 inches. The voice of this frog is known around the world - the "ribbit" that Hollywood uses in all of its films as the "standard" frog call is actually the call of the Pacific Treefrog! "
So when I root about for moss in the beautiful temperate forests here on the west coast, I may find these wonderful frogs and salamanders in and amongst the sphagnum. And many times, I see the other glistening red jewel - Drosera rotundifolia (which grows up to around a giagantic 3 to 4 inches diam in some locales around here!)
