Is there anything else that vft will eat? Its winter, so there are no bugs for it, and where I live there are no places that i can buy any. Insects won't be out for another couple of months here. help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

VFT's don't need to be fed. Don't sweat it. Considering its almost the eve of the new season and you have a growing plant...it means it wasn't it dormancy and its growing. So, just give it plenty of LIGHT and I mean plenty. Give it pure distilled or rain water and thats it. Watch in awe.

Hi krazziek77 welcome to the group. They will grow fine without food.
Where do you live?
