Hey!
I love insects, things that have wings and a heartbeat and plants! I developed an interest in carnivorous plants through building bee hotels and soon insect hotels! Then I figured plants eat as well. I like meat, they must like meat😂 So carnivorous plants add to the cycle of life!
I have many many questions for which I believe I will need to post on the respective threads from type of soil to temperature to what happens when it is -30celcius lol
Thank you for having me on here and I am looking forward to indulging in the realm of carnivorous plants!
Dom

Hi Dom!!
You're at the right place to get some nice info on CP. -30°C...most plant ain't gonna like it. Happy to have you onboard and maybe we can learn from your experience with bees as well!!
Have a great day.

At -30°C, you're in trouble buddy. Start to look for a garage. Thanks to early snow cover, I have 1 or 2 sarracenia that made it outside for two years now in zone 4b.

-30C is bad news for most plants, indoor growing would be your best bet. Cheers, Willy
