Hey, so I was just wondering. Is there any benefit to pruning the dead leaves off of my drosera capensis? Or is it a personal preference on how it looks. I was once told that its better for the plant if you don't prune the dead leaves. But I think it looks better cleaned up.

I'm by no means an expert, but I've cut away some of the dead leaves on my capensis in the past and nothing bad has happened to them at all... I don't know if there was any benefit to cutting them off but I agree that it looks nicer.

I find pruning to be good when you have mold issues and good for temperate drosera outside for when spring comes; again the mold issue. other than that I got nothing.
