The Pink Moccasin Flower, a native orchid, sometimes also called the Pink Lady's-Slipper (Cypripedium acaule), blooms around the same time as the Showy Lady's-Slipper (mid to late June) and is found in local bogs, fens and cedar swamp wetlands. These flowers are more common than Showys, but are harder to find when hidden in the shady understory. My apologies as this is not the best pic.

It's a great picture!! I went crazy taking pics of these when I was camping up north a couple years ago. I think they are so beautiful!
