Hello Everyone, I was looking around for Catasetinae orchids, as I am starting to get into them, and I came across this website that sells out of Canada, called Tropical Gardens Orchids. They seem to have a decent selection (not a large selection, but Catasetum type orchids seem to be harder to find around here). Their website is: tgorchids.com I was just inquiring as to if anyone has any experience with ordering from these guys, and if they would recommend it. Cheers, Edward

That's Calvin Wong's business, he a good guy and a good grower. He used to live in Ontario and moved out here to BC a couple years ago. I would buy from him without worrying.
Catasetum's aren't the easiest to grow but if you follow the proper wet/dry season and respect their dormancy you should get over the learn curve without problems. They are also hard to find sources for so if you find some buy them while they're available.

Thanks very much! The dormancy is very convenient for me too because I'm more busy during the winter. Thanks very much and I'm glad I've found another trustworthy source. Cheers, Edward
