Hi, I am Caden who has 9 years old kid living in North York, Toronto. Actually, I tried to plant Venus fly traps from seed, because my son wants to have that topic for his science fair since November last year. So, I bought seeds two times from first ebay and second, Amazon. However few month later since we planted them, we found each seed from both sellers was not for the plant what we expected. By the way, I got refund from Amazon but not ebay. ^^ We collect a lot of information and read them all while they were growing, but we are facing to cancel his registration. Now here is the last hope to get adult flytrap to raise. I want to buy some giant Venus fly traps trap for my son, if location is within 1 hr., I will pick them up because I do not want them to get stress or any damage by postal service. Please anybody gives me instruction step by step to get it? This site has huge information and a lot of IT words, so I was overwhelmed. Thank a lot. You guys are awesome.

...welcome to the, (new name pending), Carnivorous Plant Society of Canada! I have hundreds of dormant Flytraps, if you feel like driving out to Hamilton (airport area), you can come pick a couple up in probably about a month. Your son will be happy! Cheers.
...check out my 'Winter 2014 Project' and 'Weird Seedling Growth' threads in the Dionaea section, you can see them there.

Even typical VFT's will get pretty big in appropriate media/pots if just left outside in sunny conditions.
