Hello Everyone, I didn't know where to post this, so I'm just putting it here. I am thinking of buying from the user Alibuda899 on eBay, and I was wondering if anyone has ever bought from him, or heard anything about him. Cheers

Thanks, he has a seed grown jamban that I would like to buy, it seems like a pretty good deal, and he has positive reviews on eBay. If anyone is curious as to what he has, he has a patychila, an Edwardsiana, Hamata katopasa, an intermis, and a tenuis.

I haven't heard of that seller before. But I would mention a couple of things: The particular ebay member you mention doesn't have any feedback as a seller on ebay only as a purchaser/buyer. Not having a track record of successful sales (especially live CP's) is worth considering before bidding on a live plant online, from someone you don't know (especially a fairly expensive Nepenthes). Also as I've mentioned to you before I would be extremely cautious about getting a tropical CP shipped to you right now given the cold temperature in your area. Personally when selling CP's I would rather delay or cancel a sale than risk killing a valuable plant and disappointing a customer. Of course you can always contact the buyer with any questions you may have before bidding. If there is anything in their response that is unsatisfying, or makes suspicious I would definitely avoid getting involved and save the $ for OCPS sales and group orders in the Spring and Summer. Hope this is of some help

I agree. Its getting cold, not worth risking.. I know how it feels to be addicted to CP and has to wait for the winter to pass! Moreover its best to save your money and buy your plant from trustworthy grower, like many members here! Trust me you will be glad to wait and order from the right source.

Thanks guys, I have decided to wait. It's definitely worth waiting, it's really just the impulse of the addiction, but I've realized that I've got lots to satisfy me over the winter, lots of seeds going and seedlings and some nice plants too! Thanks everyone!
