Hi guys, I returned from England a few months ago (PhD in hand). But I've been spending the last few months sleeping on my parent's couch, which appears to be a post-doctoral rite of passage. Finally, got a job and am moving out of their place hopefully by the end of the month. So, it looks like that I'm going to be in Vancouver for a while. I will say that it is nice to be back! Cheers!

Welcome back, David. Are you going to be growing any CP's again? We have lots of members from out west now.

Thanks for the warm welcome back. I am hoping to get back into CPs. I had a few in the UK, thanks to convenience of ordering from Wistuba, but had to give them all up before returning. I am playing on staying here for a while this time, so maybe I'll get to build up a collection like I had before. And it is great to hear that we finally have some members in the West!

Thanks!!! It was in Egyptology. The defense was the least fun part of it; I think that for most people it is a traumatic experience. But as long as you are well-prepared, you should do fine.

Egyptology!
That's probably abstruse.
Was it about Goa'uld?

Hello and welcome. Egyptology sounds very interesting but since I'm from a region that doesn't receive as much recognition as the Egyptian pyramids I find them overrated. Just kidding I am of Nubian decent and we originate from the Northern parts of Sudan. I believe there PHD studies related to our humble pyramids but I'm not sure if it's an independent study or just a part of Egyptology or something else. Regards

Hey Man!
Great to have you back around again, I'm just over in Victoria now, I still have several of those Nepenthes you gave me before you left Canada. You should get some cuttings when you have the space to grow them.
