Just wanted to share a drawing that my mom did for me of a n. Aristolochioides! I just wanted to praise this species and admire how awesome it is! Feel free to share any of your aristolochioides photos here. I'd love to see them!

Hey Edward, Like yourself I find myself in complete awe of Nepenthes aristolochioides, it's probably my favorite CP species. So thank you (and your mom) for the inspired tribute to this absolutely remarkable species so worthy of our attention and concern. For those of you interested, I've attached a couple of good links about the species and it's conservation issues below. www.musekautas.lt/?p=5303www.arkoflife.net/nepenthes-aristolochioides.htmlThe following link consists of a very interesting paper by Dr. Jonathan Moran from 2012. In it he quantitatively tests the hypothesis that N. aristolochioides pitchers function as false exit, light traps. Dr. Moran is a great scientist who has spent countless hours studying Nepenthes in their wild habitat, as well as publishing many fascinating papers on Nepenthes ecology over several decades. I'm also fortunate to consider him a friend www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3474694/Anyways here are a few pics from my collection, sorry no upper pitcher yet. The incredible light traps of N. aristolochioides!
