Throughout my research I've come across a few species concidered to be the best to grow via windowsill. I was wondering if anyone was willing to throw in their two cents from their experience. Veitchii Truncata Fusca Maxima Vogelii Rafflesiana

You've got a good list going but I would remove rafflesiana, it much prefers it hot and humid. Pretty much all of the intermediate elevation Nepenthes grow well in a window. Don't forget platychila, faiziliana and most likely klossii. Between 800-1400m is a good starting point.

I am growing N. alata without troubles in a window type environment.

Let's not forget: N. x "ventrata" and N. ventricosa. Also N. sanguinea and N. x "miranda" should do well on a windowsill.

My ventrata is too big for a humidity dome, it would only barely fit inside a garbage bag so I gave up. Thing is my room is 60%+ RH and it still hates it

How long has it been out of the bag? Lol might just need to acclimate

I have two ventrata and both are pitchering very well in room humidity. Acclimate it slowly, I have a thread on putting nepenthes in room-humidity conditions : ocps.proboards.com/thread/6842/experiment-nepenthes-low-humidityMisting in the mornings and evenings tend to help and make sure it's getting enough light. Low light= no pitchers for most species and hybrids.

Good to know thank you very much, it's probably low light ad I have to hang the plant 4 feet up off the ground now and the lights don't quite "bath" it in light because it's more is less above my lights..

The onlykne I'm growing in the window right now is my Sanguinea and although it isn't directly in the window it's just below on a ledge where I crack the blinds enough to give it filtered sunlight so to speak. It gets a bit more humidity because it's in a big bright bathroom that the whole family uses for baths and showers so there is always more humidity than other rooms. I used to have my robcantleyi, my copelandii in the windows as well but the rob is too special to bother risking even if iit was doing fine for the short couple months last year. Not worth the risk.

I feel your pain Keeper, I can't seem to figure out where to keep my ventricosa x hamata.... I wanna keep it in my sunniest window, but do I want to risk giving it too much light. Some neps keep you in limbo.

There are films that can be applied to windows to defuse the light.
