Hi guys, I seem to be having trouble with my maxima, please see attached picture. At first I thought it might be thrip damage but I cannot find any. The rest of the cps, orchids, tillandsia, etc in the terrarium are doing great and none exhibit any similar problems. Thoughts?

Some of mine get that rusty look too. I thought it was too much light.

Hi Joe - Are rust fungi known from Nepenthes in cultivation? Rust fungi are very specific, so it could explain why one group is infected and others are unaffected. The best test would be to acquire a fungicide that kills rust and hit the affected plant. If it disappears, then you know. If not, then it didn't hurt. Either way, I'd be curious what it ends up being.

It's only on the older leaves.
New growth looks good.
What changed in its conditions?

No changes to the growing conditions and I don't think it is from high light, the brown sections are definitely damaged not just color changed. I have no idea if rust fungi are known from nepenthes
