Having watched the number of well wishes to fellow OCPS member's Birthdays over the past many months ... I can't help but to note that those people who are "regulars" get the most number of greetings. I also note the flip side, where a person's birthday is noted, and moderator Sib...out of kindness, or whatever, would post a nice salutation to the birthday boy/girl. And there would be no other colleague joining in the chorus of birthday cheer. In fact, I'm fairly sure that birthday recipient would never see the salutation because they hadn't visited our OCPS forum since the day they joined. So my thought is that, another meaningful tribute would be congrats to people who managed to stick to OCPS and are regular contributors to it. What do you all think?

Hmm, an idea that has merit to be sure Not sure how we could work it exactly but I do like it- I always feel a kind of moral dilemma when birthdays of zero-post members come up, for sure Hmmmmmmm I guess I'll wait for someone with an actual idea posts

well....I guess thats the whole way the OCPS has been set up. If i correcty remember when I joined after mabudon introduced me,....I never bothered coming here ....I usually was at terraforums. However, when I once came back to visit and I saw the warm welcome which i missed and help that was being offered....it was hard to go away. well...the point is...it takes a bit of time IMO to get to know a community...especially like the OCPS where most of us have not met personally ever. it takes a little while to say "I probably can instill some trust" ....I'm sorry to say that..but that is the current internet society nowadays.....you have to start everything with suspiscion. However, I guess that is true to the point that we can indeed limit the birthday wishes and so on to the regulars. Whats the point of wishing "member_abscond54" happy birthday when he doesn't even remember that he has registered here.
