It is spring on the west coast and even though it was only 14 degrees outside today, my greenhouse was up to 31. Spring break is coming up and I will try to spend some time deflasking some plants. I hadn't really looked at how fast the plants in tissue culture grew since December but in comparing pictures, the growth was impressive.
Byblis linifolia November
Byblis linifolia March - they probably needed reflasking weeks ago because there has been very little growth in the last 6 weeks
Flaming Lips November
Flaming Lips March
Similar growth in Red Dracula
True DC XL seed finally germinated - I think I have right recipe. Hopefully growth will be as fast as the Flaming Lips and Draculas
Finally, Heliamphora nutans. I didn't start the original culture, but it is time to boost the Auxins and get some root growth.

Very nice. Was the heli started from seed or from an explant? What's the medium recipe for the heli?

Very nice. Was the heli started from seed or from an explant? What's the medium recipe for the heli? They were germinated in 2/3 Knudsens C with NAA
