Greetings all, I've been lurking on the site for a while but this is my first post. I started growing a pitcher plant (Sarracenia) from one of those "Carnivorous Creations" kits but I haven't as of yet been able to figure out exactly what kind it is. It just sprouted from a seed this spring so I'm sure that will not help the identification, but in the last two months or so the growth rate has really taken off. I'm guessing sarracenia minor or leucophylla at this point but I'm really not sure. I've attached a couple of photos, if anyone can venture a more educated guess then mine I'd love to hear it. KMc

Agreeing with Maiden here - too early to tell since a lot of Sarracenia look the same as seedlings.
Looks healthy though!

Thanks all, will keep it growing and see what it grows up to be.
Do first-year seedlings need to have a dormancy period, or can I keep it going the first year?

FWIW, looks exactly like my S. x courtii seedlings - so that's my guess.
It is safe to skip dormancy for the first year, after that it'll need winter rest.
