I am going to be ordering some Venus Fly Trap seeds from CZPlants. Will I need an CITEs & Phytosanitary certificate to do this because I live in Canada? when you get the seeds would you be interested in some D Spatulata seeds for some VFT seeds as a trade ? PM me

This critter is growing in some small red peat I'm attempting to cultivate. I'm thinking D. hamitonii or D. schizandra. I want to repot these. They seem to like live moss so I'll probably pop a plug of this in some LFS and top dress a pot of peat/sand.. Propagate it and call it crazy canuck lol !!

Rolling on the floor laughing so hard my sombrero fell off.
Nolan should remove his sombrero before rolling on the floor, or he will have neck problem over time :-)

My 14 VFT seedlings are all making those leaves that have their traps and tiny traps forming Is this vigorous growth or is this the normal growth for the timespan?? Growing Conditions: I kept them on peat in a open pot under light and no covering so I do not need to harden them off later and misted with rain or pure water once a day until they sprouted now I mist 3 times a week I also use the tray method to water them.

I just checked my Sundews, Besides the one that was in the window getting the light from sunny days and even cloudy days starting to turn red(D Spatulata)which Hal said was normal with intense light they are bigger and have more of the rosette formed than my other pot of D Spatulata how thick are the arms normally??? ..the ones in the widow and turning red are displaying 5 to 7 arms with traps at the end. I guess sunlight/daylight is more intense and better than LED light lol !!
