If you're wondering whether or not you can keep them in a sealed bag or not, you can keep the bag sealed for extra humidity. That's what I do with mine like in that picture.

Thats what I thought I was on one site that said use a toothpick and make tiny holes in the bag,I looked at your pic numerous times and could see no holes so I did nothing, I want to pot the dew seedlings but a little reserved is the root noticable and long enough to replant at this stage them put the pot with a dew in it in a baggie?? what does the root look like?, black like the VFT? I am heading to bed have a good night.

I got some D spatulata some D Capensis seeds as well I used the same setup I did to germinate some D Natalensis seeds which was aerated spahgnum peat moss and watered from the tray only Mold got most of them and I killed the rest trying to get them in a new pot and new peat while I treated the peat in the old pot I know Capensis and Spatulata are supposed to be easy right? well I tried having the light close to them, more seeds incase I sowed bad ones first and High Humidity and nothing is working,,,is there something am not doing or did wrong or more reasonable leave them and let them do their own thing?
Both recently germinated(Capensis and Spatulata) please close this post

This critter is growing in some small red peat I'm attempting to cultivate. I'm thinking D. hamitonii or D. schizandra. I want to repot these. They seem to like live moss so I'll probably pop a plug of this in some LFS and top dress a pot of peat/sand.. What else do you have growing in there?

What species of sundew? Generally a 50/50 mix of peatmoss and sand sitting in a shallow tray of RO water is recommended for sundews. You can grow them on your windowsill or under strong florescent lighting. This is a good link for you in the mean time: www.growsundews.com/D Spatulata and D Capensis 1 pot of D Spatulata is in High humidity and the other is just under light to see if 1 method is better D Capensis is in high humidity cause I only had a few seeds. by High Humidity I mean the pot is in a little pure water in a baggie sealed and it steams up and condenses and is in the window

I have on a couple occasion gotten fungus gnats in my terrariums. I have a rather large capensis that always comes to my rescue lol. I have completely exterminated several colonies with it. My regia has worked just as well. I think most any sundew will work as long as it's large. I just use capensis because I have them procreating all over the place here on their own. I seen 5 houseflies on 1 leaf of a Capensis these look nice but to a fly its like staring at death lol !! Ants are funny they all follow the one caught and get caught themselves
