I sincerely hope that all of our QC members are okay after that nuttiness at Dawson yesterday, what a stupid mess that whole thing seems to have been.
Not really trying to provoke any discussion, just expressing concern, especially for some of our younger members- I don't know if anyone here attended that school, but no matter what, I hope all the injured are okay, what a waste.

Yes, it's indeed a terrible thing. I don't know anyone going at this college, but still, I have a few concerns about the 'reason' (if there is any) to this awful thing.

My heart goes out to all those affected...especially to those families who are now watching over their loved ones at the hospital. Just when you think you've seen it all and had enough of the problems in this world...you get another kick in the head.
As for "reasons"... all I can say is that there are too many sickos out there...and once in awhile we see these sorts of wackos appearing during the course of a lifetime. I've had to deal with nutcases in my career... but thankfully none to this extreme.
But thankfully, there are many more people who are kind and caring ... and they outnumber the cowards. We should all propagate this sense of empathy and kindness to friends and especially to strangers. Thanks, and take care all.

I was shocked to hear about this when I was driving yesterday. The pictures today are shocking. How do people get these crazy guns? Also it's a reminder to be sensitive to people we meet and know, even casually. There's always a possibility that someone we meet may be on the edge and possibly could be helped. If only someone who knew this guy could have talked to him in an understanding way none of this may ever have happened.
