This took me a well over a week to take but I didn't use a good portion of initial pictures I took. I used a total of 10989 photos, taking 1 pic/s which works out to 7 days and 15 hours which I compressed into 30 seconds.
I want to try and do something similar with a CP which would have to be a Nepenthes or a Sarracenia's pitcher opening. Any recommendations are welcome.

Well done man! Do up some Sarracenia, it would be awesome to see a pitcher full develop and age a little bit.

Amazing, would like to see more. Are you using a webcam, or go pro?

Amazing, would like to see more. Are you using a webcam, or go pro? GoPro, and I have a few other videos I've taken with it or my phone on my YouTube account. I've a much of time lapse photos I have never turned into film, mostly of driving through the Rockies and a few vids going shooting with friends if there is interest in it I can see what I can do next week (took me 2-3 hrs to make the video you saw).

So I made another time lapse with my GoPro this time of my N. bongso (thanks again bonfield). Although, I am disappointed with it since it is out of focus, lighting sucks and what not. That all being said I have decided to share it regardless since it is still kind of neat.
So here it is:

Hi Lucst - I missed the first one, but there is only one word for what you have done: Sweeeeet! (Yes, all of the "e"s are necessary.)

Nicely done Lucst. Good job.
A video like this with a drosera leave curling around a prey could be cool too. Less impressive because the curling would only take a day or two but still ...

Funny you should say that shoggoths, I was thinking that a D. aliciae would work rather nicely.

Very cool! I recently bought a thing called micron for making simple time lapses. I hope it works as well as your videos look. I love how smooth they are.

Looks like I am going another: I think I should have cleaned up before I started it. That looks pretty cool.
