Yes! Again- these are awesome plants. Your "death cube" rescue plant is beautiful. As much as I love the different cultivars, there's nothing like seeing the OG VFT looking so healthy and sharp!

Awesome picture of awesome plants. What clone is the really dark one? I would love to trade for a division one day. It's the good old Akai Ryu which to me is probably one of the most under-appreciated cultivars. A lot of people think it's a weak clone but I think not. If grown well it can produce some of the biggest traps with amazing colour. In summer months, the plant diameter is just ridiculous. It is also a very vigorous grower in my opinion. The only weakness it has is that it normally dies back completely in Winter with nothing left above soil. So sometimes it's hard to tell whether the plant is alive or not. Spring growth Summer growth

I found another online store carniplants.eu/offerThey have some interesting clones and offer international shipping. I wonder if anyone has ordered from them before?

I thought the low lying growth on the Akai Ryu clone was caused by the LED light you use... Anyway, because of you, I now want one!
Do they ship plants or tissue culture in sterile containers? I think Maiden has ordered from them before.

Thanks! I've read somewhere that Green Dragon and Petite Dragon are both some kind of slightly mutated versions of Akai Ryu.

Interesting the dual growth habit. The new leaves on my 'green dragon' are similar to your summer leaves: Some of the old leaves are dying completely as the plant awakens. I'm expecting the taller growth habit yours exhibits in the summer. Apparently 'reen dragon' is a mutation of 'red dragon' with green trim on red leaves. I'll check out that european site tonight!

Dionaea muscipula 'Green Dragon' shares similar characteristics with Dionaea 'Red Dragon' such as upright spring trap growth and red coloration, but the main difference is that under similar growing conditions, 'Green Dragon' will have more green on the trap margins, petioles and leaves than will Dionaea 'Red Dragon'. Isolated sometime around 1996 as Dionaea 'Red Dragon' began to be heavily propagated for mass distribution, 'Green Dragon' is a genetic mutation of the 'Red Dragon' and not a hybrid or sexually propagated descendant of 'Red Dragon' as has been previously reported.
I found this on FTS

I have also been told that Green Dragon is a much more vigorous grower and sets more seeds than Red Dragon. In my growing condition, I don't notice Green Dragon being any more vigorous. There are also no green rims on traps except newly developed ones. It's probably just a side effect of me using grow light... those traps got tanned too quickly.
