Ok... so my wife and I have decided to celebrate our daughter's upcoming 2nd birthday very quietly in Niagara (as all the ones after this will involve masses of little ankle biters running around like a wild pack of ferrets...)
So what's there to see in the Niagara area? She's too young to appreciate the wax museums, can't gamble and Marineland is a bit cold this time of year.... any nice greenhouses, conservatories and indoor exhibits in the area?

Hi , The display tropical house is open all year round up the river from the falls.(ands free) There's stuff at the falls like the tunnels under the falls , also your little one might like the butterfly house located at the school of horticulture ( get there early on the weekends it gets busy ) As for the tourist traps on cliffton hill ,there open and bring your wallets ...

I've seen the tropical house from the outside (walked passed it before but didn't have time to go in) and heard of the butterfly house.... both are places we intend to go. We're probably not going to hit those tourist trap places as my daughter just can't appreciate those things... she loves animals, fishes and we try to expose her to plants and flowers as much as possible.

Butterfly conservatory(which is frankly pretty dam awesome) and there's this new thing, Jay may know it, some kind of Birds place which sounds pretty decent- I don't recall the name of it but it's supposedly similar to the Butterfly conservatory
