Hello everyone, For my English summative we had to make a how-to video. (It's college level ) I chose how to take a macro photo, and for the subject I used Drosera scorpioides. I did the whole video and pictures in one night before it was due, so I didn't spend as much time as I'd like and I didn't use a tripod, but they turned out a heck of a lot better than I thought they would! Of course they went through a little more editing than usual though. The un-edited pictures looked nothing like the ones you see. . . haha. The sharpness is not that great when you look at the pics in a larger format, so I'll probly use a tripod next time to perfect the images. Thanks for lookin'!

Wow, no tripod ! Great job. I really like the one before the last. I surely could use a video explaining me how to do those kind of pics

Wow! Great shots Devon. I love the detail on the leaf ...the translucency of the leaf under light. Very well done. Did u use a dedicated macro lens? or just teleconverters?

Thanks guys! shoggoths: Maybe if I take out the audio and replace the awkwardly narrated instructions with subtitles, lol. vraev: I used a dedicated macro lens with extension tubes and a 50mm flipped onto the end of the dedicated macro. I would also like to try attaching a 28mm to the end to get even closer, but there is so much loss in depth of field already with the 50mm.
